Current academic challenges

Hello everyone! It's been a really complicated year...

Since the pandemic began, my life has changed completely.

In my first year of university I was living a period of adaptation: I moved to Santiago... I was beginning a "new life" in a city unknown to me.

After a couple of months, I was already adapted to my life in Santiago, in fact I liked it, but with everything that happended afterwards, I had to return to Rancagua, my hometown.

I had big plans for my next college years (like making more friends or knowing more Santiago), but I coulnd't, because the pandemic came.

Having online classes has been difficult for me: I didn´t have a good computer, the internet didn't work in my room, so I had to take my classess in the dining room (a very noisy room in my house), etc.

Those things got better over time. But this year has been a challenge for me, because I realized I can't stay focused for long. It's really hard for me to pay attention and understand the classes, because that's who I am. The noise around me (my neighbors and their very loud music, for example) is not helping me with my problem.

In despite those difficulties, being at home feels good: I do not have to worry about cooking or cleaning the house, because there are other people here. Besides, I don't have to travel to get to college, so I don't have to get up so early.

Two days ago I went to college for a face-to-face class. It was a good experience, but I forgot how to get there 😅.

Thank guys for reading my book 💓

My Dream Job

 Hello everyone!

I came a long way to find out what my dream job is...

When I was a kid, I dreamed of being a pediatrician 😆. Time later I was attracted to medicine. I have always loved helping others in their needs.

BUT, eventually, my interests changed. For a long time, I dreamed to be a teacher. First, I liked to be physical education teacher. I really enjoyed that stuff. Then, in the same area, I dreamed of being a lenguage teacher. I am a very patient person and I enjoy teaching, so I thought that teaching was the right thing for me.

Something that I´ve always known is I am a person who loves helping others in anything. When I discovered journalism and everthing that means, I found my way...

With my professional training as a journalist, I dream to travel around the world, meeting differents realities, cultures, etc. Rather than informing others, I hope to show the different ways of living and create ways of helping those most in need.

After having my degree as a journalist , I would love to take a photography course to improve on that, because it is one of the things I love most in the world.

My dream job is to know different realities, capture them with my camera and show them to the world. I believe I can help to others by showing their realities and needs.

What about you? What is your dream job? 👀
